Who are we?

We are a centre for people with additional needs situated in the heart of Southport. We offer clients an opportunity to continue their learning journey at their own pace in a supportive, relaxed environment. We offer a range of structured activities for clients to choose from, encourage trying new activities to develop and maintain life, work and social skills.

We promote independence, choice and social inclusion through all activities and events we host. We hold social and interpersonal skills to be key to the service we provide.

About the building

Live to Learn is tucked away in a quiet street in Southport away from the hustle and bustle of our town.

On our ground floor, we have a kitchen and client bistro where we all sit together for all meals. Adjacent, is our office and small computer area where we work on our computer skills. We then have our large Arts & Craft area with our incredible new dance studio with floor to ceiling mirrors. Leading outside, we have a small tools and equipment storeroom and outside we have a sunny yard for gardening with a greenhouse and small animal management area.

Upstairs, we have a salon for our hair and nail studio, a further large recreational studio which has multiple uses including audio/visual entertainment, Music and relaxation and yoga sessions. Attached to this area, is our therapies and “sensory” room, plus a baking kitchen and a small office.
